Eat, Pray, Love in Singapore

As many of you know, December brought some trials and tribulations in the guise of hospitalization and unemployment.  For the past few months I have been wondering what the next chapter would bring and now I have an opportunity to take a trip to Singapore.  Unlike Elisabeth Gilbert who in her famous story spent a year traveling the world and immersing herself in different cultures, I only have three weeks for my spiritual awakening.  I decided to use this blog as my travel diary for those of you who want an in depth look at my activities.  I will delve into the history of the country and let you know all of the fun things to do, critique the food, weather and whatever else I can find to get into.

Stay tuned, my next post will be after the 30 hour journey to get there.
